In a 2017 landmark reform, Saudi authorities decided to lift the ban on women driving in this conservative society. tribute women’s newly-gained freedom drive, major automakers turned Twitter launch creative femvertising campaigns that vividly articulate female empowering motto ‘driving is feminine’. Building eloquence of visual rhetoric, which combines communicative force figurative language with expressive potential imagery, automobile advertisers resorted metaphtonymy efficiently target prospective consumers. The selection compound, emerges from intricate interplay between metaphor and metonymy, allows for dynamic interaction highlighting function metonymy mapping role metaphoric thought establish informed parallels femininity automobility.
